Hi , I am having problems, first of all I deleted steam but still get the message 'you must be running steam to start …' and I have copied and pasted the dll files. But the thing is the DLL files were already in the game folder so why do i have to paste them again? Do i need to replace them? The main problem i have is that i can't finish the installation, after a while it says ; ISDoneDLL , what does that mean?

in the old days, people just read "readme.txt" and software works. now a days, have a video and still cant do it.

•burn to disk or what we call "mounting", there's a tutorials in google and youtube how to mount

•graphics problem, best run it in direct X 10.1 or 11 if you chose performance over quality

•steam problems, make sure to turn off your antivirus before extracting the the crack. if you did the crack right, it would not ask for steam

•errors with numbers, try updating your drivers and vcredist, its free from microsoft

•go to documents > AoE folder > settings.xml or settings.ini | 60% of it, you will be familiar of, change value to false or 0. this will lessen game crash and render time. recommended for gtx 950 and below. just imagine the load of 8 civs with 200 population each to your computer.
